Sovereign Trusteeship’s Divisions

Our team of specialists create development capital, build infrastructure and industrial parks, achieve social and environmental outcomes and do energy trading; all with one purpose in mind, to make life better in the communities where we work.   Here is how it is done.

Sovereign Trusteeship’s Divisions

Non Bank Financial Institution (NBFI)

When doing development in less developed countries it is very difficult to utilize traditional debt tools for finance. Every loan will impede future financial options, making traditional finance unsustainable.   Our specialists use alternative finance options.   As often as possible we acquire non recourse funding to finance development. &nbsp. The following are some of the tools our NBFI uses…

  • Capital sharing programs designated for development : These programs import capital from funders with stalled money, often in the billions, which can only be used for development.
  • Trade platform non recourse funding : Trade platforms use leverage and the purchase and sale of MTNs to create new non-recourse funding for development. They are highly regulated “by invitation only” programs set aside for the ultra rich to do good with their money.
  • Bank instrument buy/sell programs are a smaller, less regulated banking instrument trading. These private programs are often run by fraudsters, so getting involved with these investment programs carry a lot of risk and you can only participate in these programs with personal knowledge of the characters involved, or only with extra “play and test” money.   The yields are incredible.
  • High yield development bonds : these are often long term large debt instruments, sold to institutional buyers, to raise the capital to use in the above programs.   But they are also great to help out institutional investors, such as pension funds to help them survive inflation, which is fairly common in less developed countries.   Since we have the above finance options it is no problem honoring long term higher premium bonds. We also create green bonds for zero emission and carbon capture projects.
  • Direct foreign investment is imported capital from foreign enterprises seeking a big virgin market and lower employment costs to build businesses in a new local
  • Trade finance provider – we sell leased SBLCs used to guarantee that a buyer will pay for goods after delivery.   This services makes it possible for buyers who have unrated banks to secure financing in order to guarantee a purchase.   Increasing international trade is a proven catalyst for economic development.

Infrastructure & Industrial Park Developer

With the money raised this Sovereign Trusteeship division can then build local infrastructure (energy generation plants, waste management, water management, communication and pipelines) to universally support higher productivity and efficiency in the local.   We then build an industrial park to house the energy supply, business management, manufacturing and processing businesses which creates a lot of jobs in the local community.

This is a development hub practice.   You can’t build everything everywhere, all at the same time.   You have to focus on what that community needs and communicate to get community support for any development planned.

Energy Trading

One of the keys to sustainable development is low cost energy.   So we sell crude oil to raise traditional revenue and we trade in fuels so that the community and country has a lower cost energy supply, even it they don’t have local refineries which can meet the demand for fuels. &nbsp: We have been doing this for a dozen years and now represent the Bonny Terminal in Nigeria to help them maximize sales for their available production.

Community Development Agency

This is the division of Sovereign Trusteeship which does social development.   Examples of this are…..

  • AGRICULTURE – Industrialized farming and, enhanced meat from cattle, fish, poultry and domesticated animals sufficient for food security and export.
  • SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT – Accessible secondary and tertiary STEM education, more and better equipped hospitals, seasoned child immunizations, malaria and TB interventions, pre and post natal nutrition enhancement, rural basic health care and various entry jobs.
  • GOVERNMENT AID & HOUSING – enhanced tax collection systems, e-procurement, fixing of government pension programs intermixed with affordable owned housing for employees. Affordable housing to meet the 17 million housing deficit in Nigeria.

Sovereign Trusteeship’s divisions segregate our teams into areas of expertise so that each team can focus on what they are best at.   This empowers the greatest productivity and efficiency of operations.
